Travel slide
The travel slide could be cleaned and the guidance for the Z- and X-axes movements could be scraped. After the mechanical work, the whole travel slide can be painted in the desired colour and replaced on the machine. A new backlash free gear unit equipped with an AC-servomotor could be installed. A new gear-pinion can be fitted to the existing toothed rack. When necessary, a new
ball type linear drive can be supplied instead of the toothed-rack gear-pinion combination.
